Hello, I'm Tyler. I'm based in Swindon and currently work in Revenue Escalations for a major utility company. I am also studying part-time for a Business & Economics degree.
What I Do
My day-to-day involves investigating complex complaints and acting as the primary point of contact for dissatisfied customers. I regularly speak with people from all walks of life, navigating a wide range of temperaments and high-stress situations.My approach is always grounded in empathy and respect; I focus on building genuine rapport to understand the root of the issue, and then provide a fair, logical resolution that aligns with both company policy and legal regulations.By treating every customer as an individual, I've been able to maintain a 93% resolution rate for the escalations I have worked on.
Education
Alongside my work, I am studying part-time for a Business & Economics degree with The Open University to learn new administrative skills for the future.
Civic Engagement
I recently ran for councillor in the 2026 Swindon local elections, representing the Highworth ward. Campaigning was a highly rewarding experience that further developed my ability to engage with the community, listen to diverse political views, and find common ground with people from all walks of life.
